More than just an iconic building in the heart of Exeter, Dean Clarke House is a jewel of a building proudly delivering a rare blend of Georgian grandeur and elegant design. Our apartment is fully furnished with two separate bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom. The separate bathroom includes a deep bath, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Towels are provided.
The floors are limed oak (both bedrooms are carpeted). The kitchen offers a breakfast bar, Quooker tap, induction hob, with integrated extractor, Miele oven and combi microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A fully equipped kitchen (see picture) complete with plentiful supplies of washing-up liquid, surface Cleaners, dish washer tabs, quality tea and coffee, loo rolls etc. We simply ask you to replenish what you have used or leave a donation for the honesty box.
The self catering apartment is spacious and fully serviced with a weekly bed change (more often by agreement) and available for short or long term occupancy.
Our aim is simple. We work for you to provide a secure home-from-home where you can work, eat, entertain, network and enjoy the charm and beauty of the City of Exeter. For holiday makers we provide a base from which to explore the outstanding Devonshire coast and countryside.
We are clearly not run like a formulaic hotel. We offer a very different experience by positively cultivating a friendly, helpful, relaxed homely atmosphere with all the luxuries and conveniences you come to expect when away from your own home.
To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we add some unique touches. We can help with your travel and other needs. Our concierge service will make your stay stress-free leaving you to use your time optimally. Our Eating InOut area explains more.
We supply a generous welcome hamper and assist with your shopping needs by supplying Riverford vegetable boxes or take delivery of your grocery delivery. All the main supermarkets deliver to DCH. we also list our favourite local restaurants. The ones the locals rave about.
Our concierge will be available to assist you with all your arrangements and questions.
The apartments boast designer German kitchens and everything you will need to prepare your own fare; each has two sumptuous bedrooms with crisp bedding and the master is ensuite with a shower room and WC and there’s a separate bathroom as well.
You can relax in your apartment’s spacious lounge with comfortable furnishings, dinning table, flat screen TV, DVD player, and CD/radio. There’s a large desk as we know from experience our visitors may have to work. There’s wifi throughout the apartment. An x box is also available too.
For little visitors we can provide day beds and toys to help keep them amused during your stay. There’s also access to the pool in the nearby hotel.
The brand new ground floor gymnasium offers our visitors the chance to enjoy a work out and if this is a business trip there’s a private boardroom and a function room for hire for seminars, conferences or private parties. If you chose to entertain your guests in the private boardroom we can advise you on local chefs and assist you with all your catering needs. We will work around you.
There is on-site parking for a vehicle per apartment with other parking nearby.
